After breakfast, we will travel by rowboat to a trail that will take us approximately an hour and a half to visit the Siona Taraveya community of Tarapuy, located on the banks of the Cuyabeno River. Our guides will explain the local culture and traditions. Afterwards, we will continue on to the community of Seoqueya, where we will participate in a demonstration of how to make cassava bread (casabe) with a local family. We will also have the opportunity to appreciate handicrafts made by local people, such as bracelets, necklaces, shigras, and ceramics. In the afternoon, during the return to the lodge by rowboat along the Cuyabeno River, we will enjoy the magic of nature, observing and listening to the songs of birds, monkeys, pink dolphins, and much more. Dinner.
After breakfast, we will head upstream in a rowboat to enjoy the charm of nature, accompanied by our guide, who will explain the diversity of the fauna and flora. We will have the opportunity to observe butterflies, parrots, monkeys, and enjoy a totally relaxing atmosphere. We will return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a two-hour walk in the primary forest, where we will have direct contact with a variety of species such as frogs, toads, ants, spiders, insects, etc. We will also appreciate a variety of flora, such as orchids, heliconias, ceibos (the largest tree in the Amazon), fungi, morete, etc. Afterwards, we will return to the lodge for a swim in the river and, after dinner, we will take a night walk. The guide will summarize everything we observed on the tour with a short talk.
Animal watching along the Cuyabeno River at 6:00 a.m., followed by breakfast. Departure from the lodge at 9:30 a.m. to the bridge, then take the bus to the destination.
