Morning flight from Lima to Quito. Transfer from the hotel to the airport. Visit to the indigenous market of Otavalo, the town of Cotacachi known for its leather products, and the Cuicocha volcanic lagoon, where travelers will be able to walk part of the trail that surrounds it.
The return trip to Quito includes a stop to visit the rose plantation of the historic Hacienda La Compañía de Jesús, founded by the Jesuits during the colonial era. In the afternoon, travelers will enjoy a walking tour of Quito's old town to discover its impressive colonial architecture and colorful streets and neighborhoods. Full day tour of Quito, starting with a cable car ride 4,000 meters above sea level to the Pichincha Volcano, where spectacular views of the city can be enjoyed. We will continue our visit to the Shark Channel, where you can observe sharks and from the viewpoint you can see the port and the mountains of the upper part of the island. Then, we will visit Playa de los Perros to observe a colony of marine iguanas and enjoy panoramic views. Our last visit will be to Las Grietas, a place where the landscape is formed by interesting lava figures that form two gigantic walls crossed by an arm of brackish water that mixes with the sea water. After lunch, we will visit Tortuga Bay Beach, one of the longest white sand beaches and nesting site of the black turtle. Here you will be able to observe marine iguanas, sharks and sea turtles. Afterwards, we will return to the hotel.
After breakfast, at approximately 07:00, you will be transferred from the hotel to the dock to take the speedboat to Isabela Island. The boat ride will last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Upon arrival on the island, the dock fee must be paid in cash, according to the local municipality's regulations.
During this day, we will visit very popular and valued sites by visitors. First, we will visit Las Tintoreras, a small islet located less than five minutes from the town. In this place, as a result of volcanic activity, cracks have formed where blue sharks come to rest and are easily visible from a distance. In addition, in this place you can observe different types of lava, marine iguanas, birds such as the famous blue-footed booby, sea lions, sea turtles, varieties of fish and, sometimes, giant rays and manta rays.
Afterwards, we will head to the Arnaldo Tupiza Breeding Center, where you will be able to observe two of the five subspecies of giant tortoises that are under the care of park rangers. This center was created to protect the turtles in their first years of life, since in their natural environment they face dangers such as predation of their eggs by introduced animals such as pigs and donkeys, as well as competition for food. The eggs are collected at the breeding center, where they are incubated. After five years, when they reach the appropriate size to survive in their natural environment, they are released. Before leaving, there will also be a visit to the Flamingos Lagoon. In the late afternoon, we will return to Santa Cruz Island.
After breakfast and at the indicated time, passengers will be picked up from their hotel and transferred to
airport to take their flight back to mainland Quito or Guayaquil.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will begin our panoramic tour of Guayaquil. We will start at the Administration Square, where the imposing neoclassical style Municipality is located. We will continue to the beautiful Moorish-style Clock Tower and then walk along the Simon Bolivar Malecon, a 3 km long promenade that is an urban regeneration project. This project, which began in 1997, aims to connect the city and its citizens with the Guayas River, one of the most important natural attributes of Guayaquil.
At La Rotonda monument, we will learn about the liberation processes in South America through the figures of Simón Bolívar and José de San Martín. We will continue our tour to the historic neighborhood of Las Peñas, known for its beautiful wooden houses. From the Santa Ana hill, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city, the Guayas River and the green belt of mangroves.
After this visit, we will head towards the city of Cuenca, making a brief stop at the Cajas National Park. This park is known for its Andean páramo vegetation, with pajonales, polylepis (paper tree) forests, rocks, streams and lagoons. The 200 km drive between the two cities is along a scenic road. Upon arrival in the city of Cuenca, you will have the opportunity to tour the city at night. Cuenca has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and its hotels are located in the old town, close to areas with bars and restaurants. In addition, in recent years, Cuenca's chefs have led cutting-edge culinary movements at the national level.
After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we will dedicate this day to discover the beautiful city of Cuenca, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999. We will take a tour of the most emblematic places of the city.
We will start in the picturesque and traditional neighborhood of San Sebastian, where we will be able to appreciate the architecture and charm of its streets. Then, we will visit the Museum of Modern Art and the Calderon Park, which is the central park of the city. We will also have the opportunity to stroll through the Plaza de las Flores and admire the beauty of the Catedral del Sagrario (Old Cathedral) and the Catedral Inmaculada Concepción (New Cathedral), considered the largest cathedral in Latin America.
Our visit will continue in a "toquilla straw hat" factory, where we will learn about the elaboration of these fine hats, a very important handicraft tradition in the region.
After lunch, we will tour the charming Barranco neighborhood, where architecture merges with the natural surroundings. Cuenca, founded by the Spanish under the name of Santa Ana de los cuatro ríos de Cuenca, is known for its rivers, which are considered the most important heritage of the city. We will walk along the Tomebamba River to admire the vegetation and the city built along its banks. Then, we will visit the Turi Viewpoint, from where we can enjoy a panoramic view of the valley with its red roofs and blue domes, surrounded by imposing mountains. On the way, we will also visit the house-workshop of Eduardo Vega, a famous ceramist from Cuenca. We will conclude our visit at the Museo de las Conceptas, an ancient monastery dating back to 1561.
After this tour, we will return to the hotel and you can continue enjoying this beautiful city.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the Cuenca airport for your flight to Quito. There you will be met by your guide, who will take you directly to the center of the city to begin a walking tour of its historic center, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1975.
We will start our tour at the Plaza de la Independencia, where the Presidential Palace, the Metropolitan Cathedral of Quito and the Municipal building are located. This square is the heart of the country and continues to be a meeting place for thousands of people daily. We will continue visiting two of the most representative churches of the Quito school: the Compañía de Jesús, known for its impressive gold-covered nave, and the church of San Francisco, where we can visit the temple, its impressive convent and the museum of religious art.
Afterwards, we will continue our walking tour through several neighborhoods and sectors of the historic center that still preserve traditional aspects of the daily life of the Quiteños. We will pass by the convent of Carmen Bajo, the Arch of the Queen, the Museum of the City, La Ronda Street, the Church of Santo Domingo, Junin Street and the neighborhood of San Marcos, ending our tour on Espejo Street. Along this route, you will discover a surprising trading system of local and other more peculiar handicrafts.
At the end of the afternoon, we will return to the hotel so you can enjoy the rest of your stay in this beautiful city.
The city of Quito is surrounded by the eastern and western mountain range of the Andes. In the western mountain range is the Pichincha massif, which is composed of hills and volcanoes, highlighting the Rucu and Guagua Pichincha. The Rucu Pichincha, which means "old" in Quichua, is an inactive volcano whose activity ceased in the Pleistocene. On the other hand, the Guagua Pichincha volcano, which means "young" in Quichua, is located 12 km from the city and has an altitude of 4,776 meters above sea level. This volcano has a horseshoe shape open to the west and had its last recorded volcanic activity in 1999 and 2001.
At the scheduled time, we will leave in our transportation to the Cable Car, where we will go up in an aerial cabin to the Cruz Loma station, which is 4000 meters above sea level. From this point, we will be able to enjoy spectacular views of the city, its complex and rich topography, its location close to the equator and understand its growth and expansion processes.
After this visit, we will head towards the Middle of the World, which is located 22 km north of the city of Quito and where the equatorial line is located. This location was determined in the 18th century by the French Geodesic Mission in collaboration with Spanish and Ecuadorian geographers. Here, you will have time for lunch and a tour of the museum complex. This visit is both educational and fun, as you can stand on the two hemispheres and visit the Intiñan Museum, where you can perform a series of dynamic experiments that confirm the location of the equatorial line.
To end the day, we will visit the Casa Museo Guayasamín, located in the Bellavista sector, which houses the residence, the colonial art collection and the museum with the works of Oswaldo Guayasamín, the most important Ecuadorian artist of the twentieth century. Through his work, you can discover a broader dimension of Andean culture, the conquest of the American continent and the political and cultural processes in Latin America that characterized the 20th century.
After this visit, we will return to the hotel so you can rest and enjoy the rest of your stay in the beautiful city of Quito.

After breakfast at the hotel, at the agreed time, we will start the City Tour through the historic center of Bogota, also known as "La Candelaria". During the tour, you will visit the Gold Museum, where you can see about 34,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic gold and more than 25,000 pre-Columbian objects. Afterwards, you will visit the Casa de la Moneda and the Botero Donation, where works of the renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero are exhibited in different artistic techniques such as painting, drawing and sculpture.
The tour will continue with a panoramic tour of the Plaza de Bolivar, which includes the Primada Cathedral, the Casa de Nariño, the Liévano Palace and the Palace of Justice. At the end, we will return to the hotel and you will have the afternoon free to enjoy your time in Bogota.
Transfer to El Dorado International Airport to take flight (not included) to Cartagena. Upon arrival in Cartagena, you will receive assistance at the Rafael Núñez International Airport and will be transferred to the hotel for check-in. Lodging.
