After about 2 hours, you arrive at the condor area, where you find the imposing metal sculpture of the Puñana Condor. The hike continues to Nizag, where you enjoy a local lunch and explore women's handicraft projects using the Cabuya plant. The journey culminates at the Tolte viewpoint, overlooking the Devil's Nose mountain.
Begin your experience at the Inti Sisa Community Tourism Center in Guamote, where you will explore life in small mountain communities surrounding the city. You will visit the Inti Sisa educational center, with a kindergarten, sewing workshop and computer class. Explore the authentic indigenous community of Ozogoche on a 55 km journey from the Inti Sisa Community Tourism Center. Accompanied by local guides, you will hike adventure trails, cross rivers and climb 200 m to the lookout point to enjoy views of more than 300 lakes in Sangay National Park. Discover local traditions and legends, including the mysterious phenomenon of migratory birds diving into the lakes in August. After the hike, enjoy a lunch of fresh trout before returning to Guamote.
