Embark on a canoe tour down the Napo River from the beach at Puerto Misahualli, arriving at the Misicocha Protected Forest at Jungle Lodge El Jardín Alemán for a jungle hike. During the tour, you can see toucans, golden pendulum parrots, and small monkeys, while the local indigenous guide provides explanations about the region's flora and fauna, with an emphasis on medicinal plants. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the jungle and then visit an indigenous village to witness the preparation of "chicha" and participate in their traditional dance. Finally, you will return to the lodge for dinner and accommodation.

Arrival at the Lodge
When you arrive at the lodge in the evening, you will enjoy a delicious dinner and settle in comfortably to rest.

Activities
After breakfast, you will enjoy a canoe tour, with a canoe ride on the Napo River from the beach at Puerto Misahualli. You will arrive at the Misicocha Protected Forest at the Jungle Lodge El Jardín Alemán, which covers an area of one square kilometer. There, you will take a walk in the jungle to admire the extraordinary flora and exotic sounds of the primary rainforest. If you are lucky, you will be able to spot toucans, golden pendants, parrots, and small monkeys. Your local indigenous guide will explain the flora and fauna of the Amazon region, with special emphasis on medicinal plants. You will enjoy a picnic lunch in the jungle. Then, you will board the canoe and travel upriver to visit an indigenous village, where you will witness the preparation of "chicha," a fermented cassava drink, which you will be offered to taste. The natives will show you their traditional dance and invite you to join them. Here you will also have the opportunity to purchase handicrafts made by the indigenous people. At the end of the afternoon, you will return to the lodge to enjoy dinner and accommodation.
