FISH MARKET
This is a wonderful tour that will take you through the main coastal road of Manta, to show you the exciting local fish market and the wooden shipyard, which are important in the local economy. Here, you will see that the daily life of the fishermen remains little changed over generations. The huge wooden skeletons of the fishing boats being built on the beach are truly impressive and will leave you speechless. Join us on this trip and enjoy the highlights and exciting aspects of the Manta coast!

Montecristi
Welcome to the wonderful town located at the foot of Landmark Mountain! It is here that Panama hats originated many generations ago and you will have the opportunity to explore the workshops and stores of the local manufacturers. In addition, you will find a wide variety of handcrafted products that are lovingly made in town, and why not head to the central plaza to see some of the traditional examples of wooden architecture found there? We are sure you will thoroughly enjoy our city and its wonderful attractions.

Pacoche
Next stop is a wonderful trip to the lush tropical rainforest of Pacoche! This national park is a treasure trove of beautiful sights and exciting sounds of the diverse local wildlife. For your maximum enjoyment, your guide will work with a local resident for an authentic experience. The hike lasts two hours, during the first hour you will be able to walk leisurely on level ground with some stairs with bamboo railings. In the second half, the terrain becomes a bit more demanding, but still exciting as you will cross rocky trails and small streams - you might even get your feet wet! Don't worry, the less adventurous can turn back at the halfway point and enjoy the ride back on the bus - this trip is guaranteed to leave you with wonderful memories and a deeper connection to nature!

San Lorenzo
From here we can embark on a wonderful visit to the beautiful fishing village of San Lorenzo! This place is famous for its star marine residents: the sea turtles, who in the winter months find an ideal space to reproduce. We assure you that it is a wonderful experience to watch the sea turtle hatchlings struggle to make their way to the ocean. Additionally, San Lorenzo is home to a diverse community of expatriates who have found their place in this tropical paradise. If you visit, you must try the delicious traditional food offered at the beachfront restaurants and bars - there is a whole world of new and exquisite dishes to delight your palate! Our recommendation is the Tongas.
Our last stop will be at the lighthouse on the cliff to enjoy some amazing pictures of the coast and the Pacific Ocean, we can climb the hill in the bus or the brave ones can climb the +600 stairs from the beach. Once all is said and done, we will return to Manta.

HEART ISLAND TOUR

Just 2 hours drive from Manta, you will find the Isla Corazón Reserve. It is a beautiful place that offers a unique experience of the wildlife and nature of the north of the province. The reserve is home to several colonies of frigate birds, one of the largest in the Americas. Corazon Island is located near the mouth of the Chone River, in front of the cities of Bahia de Caráquez and San Vicente, and protects the last mangroves in the area. It is also a resting and breeding place for several species of seabirds and shorebirds. The reserve is easily accessible and has become a very popular tourist spot, ideal for recreational activities such as boat rides and mangrove walks. Enjoy the beauty of the Isla Corazón Reserve and its abundant wildlife!

La Plata Island is a true paradise located only 40 kilometers off the coast of Puerto Lopez, and is considered the little Galapagos. This island is part of the Machalilla National Park and is a must-see ecotourism destination because of its great importance as a refuge and nesting site for seabirds such as blue-footed, red-footed and masked boobies, frigate birds, pelicans, tropical birds, albatrosses and sea lions. It is also a perfect place for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts, as it has the last samples of coral reefs in the Ecuadorian coast.
