A unique and immersive destination in the heart of Yasuní National Park, where the rich Amazonian culture intertwines with the majesty of the Ecuadorian rainforest.
We invite you to visit this magical place!

This center offers an enriching experience that goes beyond simple accommodation; immerse yourself in the authenticity of indigenous communities and discover the deep connection between nature and everyday life. With comfortable accommodations and culturally enriching activities, we invite you to explore and respect the unique diversity of this region, thus contributing to the conservation of this natural and cultural treasure. Welcome to Napo Cultural Center, where every visit is an opportunity to learn, appreciate, and preserve the Amazonian heritage.
The adventure begins with a flight from Quito, Ecuador's capital, to the Amazonian town of Coca. From Coca, we will head to the Yasuní Kichwa Eco-Lodge on a two-hour trip downriver by canoe. During the trip, passengers will be offered refreshments. They will be able to enjoy watching birds such as herons, kingfishers, swallows, and other coastal species, as well as appreciate beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival at the Yasuní Kichwa Eco-Lodge, visitors will receive a warm welcome with a traditional drink and enjoy lunch. Afterwards, they will be taken to their cabins, located in the middle of one of the most biologically diverse places on planet Earth.
In the afternoon, we will take a short walk to the Napo River to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the banks and islands, then return to the lodge for dinner and rest.
We will start early with breakfast and departure aboard a motorboat to visit the parrot clay lick. This site offers a close encounter with approximately 11 species of parrots, including macaws and parrots, depending on the season, weather conditions, and good luck (although this activity is usually very fruitful). Then, we will end the morning with a visit to the "Kuri Muyu" Interpretation Center, run by women from the community. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn directly from the community, who will introduce you to the Kichwa indigenous culture, their crafts, traditions, and use of natural resources. Afterwards, we will return to the lodge for lunch and to rest.
In the afternoon, we will take a short walk near the Napo River and then climb a 35-meter-high observation tower. From there, you will be able to observe a variety of birds and monkeys.
After breakfast, we will visit a series of community projects and learn about the worldview of the Kichwa indigenous people. Then, we will take a walk along the Mama Cuna trail, an excellent opportunity to see more wildlife, ceibo trees, bamboo canes, vines, and some shrubs endemic to Yasuní. Afterward, we will return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, we will head to the Añangu River aboard a small canoe for a spectacular adventure through the forest. As the sun sets, we will have the opportunity to spot...
If you wish, you can wake up at 4:30 a.m. to share one of the traditional customs of the Kichwa culture: the use of the wayusa to energize the body while listening to Kichwa songs. Afterwards, we will return to the lodge for breakfast before taking the motorized canoe back to the city of Coca.
