Mindo
Mindo is a town located two hours from Quito, in the middle of the impressive cloud forest ecosystem. The more than 19 hectares that make up the Mindo Nambillo Protected Forest are part of the Andean Chocó, which was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2018, as it is one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. This is an educational destination for learning about and enjoying nature and adventure. It is world-renowned as an ideal site for bird watching, with more than 450 species, some of which are endemic, and a wide variety of hummingbirds and tanagers.

Mindo Cable Car to the Waterfalls
You will cross the Mindo Cloud Forest by cable car, where you can go hiking and visit several waterfalls that make up the Mindo-Nambillo Protected Forest.

Canopy
Canopy (zip line) is for adventure seekers who want to fly through the forest canopy with the birds. Descend through the treetops on a cable system, observing Mindo's nature on the way down. It is a 3 or 10 cable ride, using a double cable safety system, stretching over 3.5 km (2 miles).

Tasting of artisanal chocolate made with fine and aromatic cocoa. Guided tour of a small farm to learn about the step-by-step process of making chocolate from harvest to final product (tree to bar). Arriba or Fino y de Aroma cacao has distinctive aroma and flavor characteristics sought after by chocolate makers. It represents only 5% of global cacao production. Guided tasting of unique cacao fruit products, a variety of chocolate bars, and the famous brownie.

Mindo Butterfly Garden
At the Mindo Butterfly Garden, you can observe more than 1,000 butterflies of various colors, shapes, and sizes flying around you. You will learn about the stages of the butterfly life cycle and you can also observe various types of birds, especially hummingbirds.

Orchid house
Ecuador is home to more than 4,000 species of orchids. In fact, 1 in every 4 plants will be an orchid. On the tour of the Orchid Garden, you can discover some of these incredible and beautiful plants.
